Expert Case Evaluation Report

This report is prepared by Dr. Thomas E. Serena, an internationally recognized expert in the field
of wound care. The report provides the requesting attorney with an overview of potential areas of negligence, causation and damages. In the complex world of wound healing this report will shed light upon the nature of chronic wounds as well as the standards of care for prevention and treatment.
This report is primarily evidence-based but may also include professional opinions based on
Dr. Serena’s extensive wound care expertise. Dr. Serena has authored several of the national guidelines for the treatment of wounds through his work as a member of the board of directors
of the Wound Healing Society.

* Case reviews and preliminary evaluations are charged at $500/hour.

* A non-refundable retainer for a minimum of 3 (three) hours is expected to start.

• Additional work/research is payable at $500.00/hr.
• Expedited reports add $600/report.
• Deposition fees $550/hour (if held in town).
• Daily fee $5,000/day plus expenses.
• Out of town depositions $750/hr.
• Urgent depositions (less than two weeks advanced notice) add $500.
