Mary Shannon, CRNP, CWOCN

Mary Shannon is a 2003 graduate of Carlow University. She is board certified in wound, ostomy and incontinence care through the WOCN society. She has 10 years experience in working with nursing home patients, as well as 20 years in home care, assisted living, and in and outpatient facilities. She recently was awarded a grant by the WOCN society for research in venous leg ulcers, and has been working on a longitudinal study on the management of heel pressure ulcers. She lives in Chicora, Pa with herhusband, and has two grown children.
